Pumpkin Pie

Even the most critical of pumpkin pie eaters have raved about this pie recipe. It is simple and delicious and perfect for any holiday table. It’s spicy and sweet balanced with a taste of pumpkin. I make this several times around fall because of how fast they seem to go in our house!

Pumpkin Pie


  • 1 15oz can puree pumpkin
  • 1 12oz can evaporated milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 TBSP cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp clove


  1. Prepare your pie crust.
  2. Mix milk, pumpkin, and eggs in a bowl and whisk well.
  3. Add sugar, spices, and salt and mix well.
  4. Bake in a 425F preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to 350F and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a knife comes out clean when poked in the middle.
  6. Refrigerate until cool and serve with whipped cream.
