Apple Pie

For any apple pie lover looking to spice up the season. This pie is spicy and sweet without the tartness of other apple pies because of the crisp and juicy Fuji apples used. I love making this pie for the holidays and birthdays.


Apple Pie


  • 5 Fuji apples, sliced thinly
  • 2 TBSP lemon juice
  • 3 TBSP flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 TBSP cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp clove


  1. Prepare your pie crust.
  2. Toss sliced apples in lemon juice.
  3. Mix flour, sugar and spices in another bowl until well combined.
  4. Toss the dry mixture with the apples.
  5. Pour apples into pie crust.
  6. Cover pie with crust or lattice. Be sure to cut slits in the crust to vent.
  7. Bake in a 375F preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream.
